ALS Coffee and Cake Attorney Consultation June 1, 1pm – 4pm

On June 1st, fundraising will join with the law in a most compassionate way, as the Badanes Law Office will be offering free consultations to raise money for the Northport High School organization, A Midwinter Night’s Dream (AMWD).

David Badanes, Northport matrimonial and criminal defense attorney, will be hosting this charity event and is pleased to recognize that Jessica Sparacino, Northport real estate and foreclosure attorney, and Andrew Karpf, criminal defense attorney will be assisting him in providing free consultations.

The ALS Coffee and Cake Attorney Consultation will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Scheduled consultations are required (see contact info below), and will last 20 minutes per session. Light refreshments and pastries will be severed. All consultations are free. However, we are suggesting a donation of $20 to the charity and of course you are welcome to donate as much as you can. There is no requirement to donate to receive your free consultation.

About A Midwinter Night’s Dream
AMWD is Northport High School’s student run non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for ALS. The organization runs five programs for students to participate in: Fundraising Program, Research, Patient Services, Philanthropy Center and AMND Chapter program.

In the organization’s seven year history, they have raised over $2.5 million for ALS Research and families afflicted with the disease. Their proceeds are donated to different patients, ALS organizations, and science research centers.

About ALS
ALS, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis—aka, “Lou Gehrig’s Disease”— is a progressive, neurodegenerative disease caused by the degeneration of motor neurons, the nerve cells in the central nervous system that control voluntary muscle movement. ALS is a fatal disease for which there is currently no cure.

Any donations will be welcomed and greatly appreciated. A Midwinter Night’s Dream, Inc. is an official non-profit organization. Under section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS Code, your donation is tax deductible. All donations received on June 1st will be helping the battle against ALS.
