I have extensive experience in residential real estate closings. Prior to becoming an attorney, I bought and sold several properties. I know what to expect from an attorney in a real estate transaction and I endeavor to make sure that you get the best advice and service. I will help you in all aspects of buying and selling your home.

My goal is to provide the best service to my clients, by being attentive and responsive to my client’s needs and questions. Virtually all phone calls and emails are answered within one business day and most are responded to in the same day. All of my real estate clients get my cell phone number, so if you ever have a question or concern, you can contact me.

If you require an appointment outside of my office or outside my extended office hours, special accommodations can be arranged upon request.

An overview of the services I provide to my clients:

For Sellers:

  • Draft the Real Estate Contract making sure to include the terms and conditions that are favorable to your position
  • Make sure you get the highest sale price for your property
  • Provide a list of documents you will need to sell your property
  • Help you in clearing up any title issues
  • Representing you at the closing

For Buyers:

  • Negotiate the Sale Price and the Terms of the Real Estate Contract
  • Find an Engineer and review the Engineer’s report
  • Find a Mortgage Bank or a Mortgage Broker for your financing needs
  • Find a Title Company to insure your title and review the Title Report

For Both Sellers and Buyers:

I understand that as a seller you are emotionally attached to your home and that it may be difficult to deal with the business aspects of this transaction. That is where my expertise comes in. As your attorney, I act as your agent to protect your interests. I consult with you at every step and make sure that you are satisfied with the result. I am there to answer your questions and guide you through this process.

When representing the buyer, I assist you in reviewing the engineer’s report and obtaining concessions (that is a price reduction) from the seller. I can help you in finding a mortgage and in obtaining title insurance. I negotiate and review the Real Estate Contract of Sale and ensure that you are protected.

My fee is reasonable and for most real estate transactions I charge a fixed fee for my services.
